Insects - why on earth should I eat them?

Insects are one of the most environmentally friendly superfoods in the world. If you care about the sustainable environment and wish to take good care of your health, then the best way to do that is to add insects to your table. Read more in detail about edible insects - the crickets

Crickets are extremely rich in nutrients

Crickets are a great alternative to meat because they contain 2-3 times more protein than meat. Crickets contain all nine essential amino acids and  cricket protein is also very easily absorbed by the human body.

In addition, these "wonder insects" are full of vitamins and minerals such as vitamin B12, iron, magnesium, calcium and contain valuable omega-3 fatty acids.

By adding cricket flour to your regular meal or consuming special products containing cricket flour, you can easily make your menu healthier and more nutritious.

Crickets save the environment

Insects require so much less resources comparing to cattle thus leaving a significantly smaller ecological footprint compared to cattle farming.
Crickets consume and pollute the environment so much less than cattle farming:

Insects are the future food

The world's population is growing rapidly. It is estimated that 70 million people will be added each year, and the world's population is projected to exceed 9 billion by 2050, which requires to double the meat production.

To feed all the additional hungry mouths in the same way as now there are not enough resources on earth unfortunately (including land and water). As breeding the insects for food is very resource efficient, then large part of the animal protein will certainly come from insects  in the future

Insects have been a food for humans since prehistoric times

Eating insects seems new to Europeans, but in reality eating insects (including crickets) is not outrageous. In ancient times, insects were eaten, as evidenced, for example, by a 15,000-year-old painting of a grasshopper on the cave wall of ancient Europeans.

Even today, insects are part of the daily diet of 2 billion people every day.

There are almost 2,000 edible insect species.

We'll reveal that insects, in addition to all their other superpowers, are also very tasty - why shouldn't you get part of them too?
